What Is Wallpaper Paste?

Basically, wallpaper paste is a glue used to adhere wallpaper to the wall. It is made from various kinds of materials, such as clay, methylcellulose and modified starch. It can also be water-soluble or dispersion adhesive.

Dispersion adhesive

Whether you are redecorating your home, or just hanging new wallpaper, you will need a good dispersion adhesive for wallpaper paste. There are many different types of adhesives available, and each has its own unique properties. Some are easier to remove than others, and some are better for certain jobs.

Thermogelation is a process that involves the nucleation and growth of a gel, which may occur by means of a cellular nucleation mechanism. A gel is formed with hydrophobic junctions, or effective units, composed of hydroxyl groups. Thermogelation is an excellent method for enhancing the rheological properties of cellulose ether derivatives.
